Apollo Global Capital, Inc. has deployed is first deep sea siphon mining vessel, MB Siphon 1, 14 off the shore of Gonzaga municipality in Cagayan province.
APL said its subsidiary, JDVC Resources Corporation, has positioned MB Siphon 1 in its 1,897 hectares mining tenement last 14 April 2021.

APL said its subsidiary, JDVC Resources Corporation, has positioned MB Siphon 1 in its 1,897 hectares mining tenement last 14 April 2021.
“MB Siphon 1 has completed all the necessary offshore commissioning stages and necessary permits to start production. JDVC Resources will now proceed into the developmental stage on the mining tenement area in preparation for commercial export shipments,” said APL in a disclosure.
APL’s partner, bilyonaryo Frank Lao, is poised to deploy three of his ships before June this year. APL is eyeing to churn out 10,000 tons of magnetite iron ore per day in the country’s first, large-scale offshore mining operation.
